Brides-les-Bains is a commune in the Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.
Brides-les-Bains was an Olympic Village for the 1992 Winter Olympics, based in Albertville, France. The resort is linked by a cable car directly to the higher resort of Meribel which is just over eight miles away. Brides-les-Bains is genrally a more cost effection option thn the resorts of Meribel and Tignes.
Brides-les-Bains has a number of health spas including a set of springs (this is where the town’s name originates from).
