So….you’ve decided that Les Gets is going to be your new home. It’s fun and friendly vibe has well and truly pulled you in. The next big step comes in deciding what kind of seasonal accommodation to look for. Much like Morzine and other surrounding resorts, there’s no shortage of choices. From shared accommodation, to chalets, studios and apartments there’s something for every taste. Here’s our guide to picking the right one for you:

Shared Accommodation

This option is for people wanting to throw themselves into the seasonnaire lifestyle, spend as little as possible and meet new people. You’re looking at sharing a room and a bathroom with complete strangers but for some people this is the best way to get stuck in! You go through the trials, tribulations and unending fun of doing a season together and it’s a great way to find your feet in a completely new place. Lots of employers will offer this as part of your job package.

Chalet

You may be coming over as a group or you may be an employer looking to rent a chalet to house your workers – either way hiring a chalet for the season could be the most lucrative option for you. Rather than living with strangers you can cut costs together and really test out the chalet lifestyle. There are plenty to choose from in Les Gets, from high end to the more basic.

If sharing with strangers or living with a group of people isn’t your cup of tea, then don’t worry there are still a number of options left to you.

Studios

Studios are extremely popular with couples and groups of friends who really want to save on spending and aren’t worried about living in small spaces! They’re often quite basic with bunk beds and small bathrooms but there are loads on offer around Les Gets. For example, for a studio in the centre of town which sleeps 4 on bunk beds you’re looking at spending €6000.00 between you for the full season. IF you’re here as a couple but don’t want to fork out for a full apartment, you could bag yourself a studio in Les Gets for around €4,000.00 plus bills.

Apartments

If you like the idea of living alone or with one or two others, and can afford to fork out a little bit more money, then an apartment might be the ideal option for you. Again, like studios, there’s no shortage around Les Gets. With a range of high end to more basic apartments waiting to be snapped up- they’re also a great option for employers. You’re looking at around €5,500.00 for the season for a 1 bedroom apartment which sleeps 6. There are higher end options too, like a flat which will sleep 6 in two bedrooms for around €10,500.00 plus extra charges.

Whichever way you decide to go when it comes to picking your accommodation – there’s something out there for everyone. Les Gets is full of everything you need to make your season a success. Good luck – the adventure starts here!
