La Plagne is actually six resorts for the price of one.

The central resort of ‘Pagne Centre’ is purpose built and it’s where you’ll find shops, bars and restaurants. Because much of La Plagne has been built and expanded to cater for tourists, much of the accommodation in the resort is ski in, ski out. Imagine being able to ski to work…!

La Plagne became part of the Paradiski ski area in 2003, when it joined forces with Les Arcs to create 225km of connected ski runs. The lift system is very modern and efficient and was once home to the longest and fastest cable car in the world.

Big events such as the Telemark World Cup and the French Freestlye Ski Championships happen each year in La Plagne. There’s also a increasingly buzzy apres scene, especially at watering holes such as Scotty’s Bar, which you can ski to at the bottom of the Stade Olympic run in the centre of the resort. The Mouth Bar is also really popular and they regular serve free pizza to drinkers between 8pm and 9pm each evening. The Mouth is also the venue for karaoke parties, live DJs and the wildest after hours parties.
