Doing a Season in Whistler Canada

If you’ve done a few seasons in the Alps and you fancy something different and further afield, we’re really please to have seasonaire accommodation in Whistler for you.

Whistler is in the Coast Mountain range of British Colombia, Canada. The area and terrain are vast and many of the smaller villages which make up the wider resort of Whistler are purpose built

The highest elevation on Whistler Blackcomb mountain is 2284 metres and despite what we saw at the 2010 Winter Olympics, Blackcomb usually is usually snow sure with over 10.2 meters of average snowfall each year.

In 2011 Whistler won Conde Nast Traveler Magazine’s ‘best resort for Apres’ award. Ski Magazine afforded Whistler the same recognition. So you’d expect a lot wouldn’t you? ‘Club Crawl’ tickets are available to buy for 60 dollars and they include dinner, 5 drinks, 5 bar entries and queue jumping. Apres usually centres around the Longhorn Saloon and Merlins where DJs are suspended above the dancefloor in gondola lifts. A lot of the clubs are ‘themed’ and have names such as Buffalo Bills but Moe Joe’s gets our recommendation for being a bit more independent and alternative to the others!

Visit the Whistler Office de Tourisme website for more information on the resort of Whistler.
